The information that you will need is:
- Email Address:
- Account Username:
- Account Password:
- POP3 Incoming Mail Server: (mail.yourdomain.xxx)
- SMTP Outgoing Mail Server: (mail.yourdomain.xxx)
Other Settings
- Outgoing Mail Server Requires Password Authentication (needs a password to send)
- Change outgoing SMTP server port from 25 to 366 (some ISPs block port 25)
Setup Directions
- Click Tools, and then click Accounts.
- Click E-mail Account.
- In the E-mail Address field, enter your full email address.
- In the Password field, enter your email password.
- In the User name field, enter your username.
- Select your server type and enter POP or IMAP.
- Enter an incoming server port:
IMAP
without SSL - 143
with SSL - 993
POP3
without SSL - 110
with SSL - 995
NOTE: Click Override default port to change the default port.
- Select No SSL to connect.
- Select your server type and enter your Outgoing POP or IMAP Server.
- Enter an outgoing server port:
Without SSL -366
With SSL - 465
NOTE: Click Override default port to change the default port.
- Select Use SSL to connect if you are using a port with SSL.
- Click Add Account.
- Click More Options.
- From the Authentication menu, select User Name and Password.
- In the User name field, enter your username.
- In the Password field, enter the password for the email account.
Click OK.
