Randy Martin started R. L. Martin and Associates in August of 1996 specializing in web sites for energy and environmental organizations and companies. Prior to going into business for himself he served as Director of Energy Efficiency Services for the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities (IAMU). In this position he created a new home construction program for municipal utilities called Comfort Plus Homes. He also wrote an Energy Efficient Mortgage Manual for Lenders. Prior to working for IAMU, he worked for 3 years on residential and transportation efficiency programs for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in the Denver Regional Support Office. Before moving to Denver in 1992 he worked for the state energy office in Iowa for nine years. There he ran the Energy Hotline, writing publications and answering all types of energy questions. He is a 1979 graduate of Iowa State University with a B.A. in Distributed Studies (Architecture, Environmental Studies, and Journalism).

Steve received his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Colorado State University and then returned to CSU to complete his Masters in Computer Science.
While completing his masters, he worked as an Electronics and Test Automation Engineer at Veeco Instruments. He has spent the last five years working in Houston for a leading Oil Field Service company developing desktop and iOS applications. He is very excited to be joining us back in Colorado and even more excited to be working close to clients to help them achieve their goals.
In Steve’s home life, he is a husband and father of two young and energetic boys. He loves playing golf and would enjoy getting to know you over a round if you are in the area.
